Day 270 – Monday 23rd January 2006
Uneventful Day.
kp slept in until 1.30pm, clocking up another 12 hour+ sleep. We said goodbye to Jane mid-afternoon and then Ronnie about 6pm. It was lovely having them and it gave me some time on my computer playing counterstrike with old workpals.
Jane and Ronnie were taking the mickey out of Karen for how much time she had been awake for their visit. Next time they visit, they are going to go straight to our bedroom and sit on the end of the bed for the weekend. They think they will get more time with her that way.
Not much to tell apart from that.

Hi ya
just seen the video of you walking with Elsa, you really should have been shouting about that all weekend but you didn’t!! I feel guilty now having spent time talking about other stuff.
Having been evicted (very nicely)from the Big Pollard house on Day 4, at 5.45 p.m (big brother voice please David)I was back home by 10.05 p.m (BB voice again). Trains and tubes appeared just as I stepped on a platform, it was like a dream.
I have done no work today, no one said thanks for what I did yesterday so thats it now, till next Wednesday. It has really got my goat. Thinking about it my boss has never said thanks for anything I’ve done this month.
I’m off to see Babs in Portsmouth tomorrow, I’ll deliver her present and I’m staying over as we are going out for the night.
Thursday is driving back from Portsmouth and taking Irene shopping.
Friday morning visit to work
Weekend is party time
Monday and Tuesday next week is chill out time.
It was great to have a break away before going back, so thanks to both of you for being as always the best hosts, with the best dogs.
