kp had to be up early again today as I was at work most of the day and had to get her ready for her visitors.

Adele had stayed over to do the cleaning, and Debs and Lydia arrived at about 10am ish bringing a Buffet with them. Adele took a photo with Karen’s phone………..

Marge arrived mid-afternoon and is staying over. We have had lots of laughs with Marge. She is our own little Mrs Malaprop.

A typical conversation would go something like this……………

Marge :- Yes, it was a really good programme. It showed how the banks take advantage of people who can’t afford credit cards. they had a name for them, I think it was “rollers”. It showed the Royal Bank of Stockton (she meant Scotland) and loads of others. People were throwing themselves in front of trains and everything.
And another….talking about her recent visit to the doctor’s….

Marge :- Yes, I couldn’t take in everything the Doctor was saying. There is something wrong with my Cross Moans or something….

dp :- Do you mean Chromosomes ?

Marge :- yes, that’s the ones.

It was a real good laugh. Here are Marge and kp in the sun. This picture was taken before I ripped kp’s nose off with my watch. Basically, I was getting kp down on to the sun lounger, which involves me supporting her weight and gradually lowering her arse on to the sunbed. I did that fine, but when the weight goes down, the sun lounger tips forward, so I have to put my hand on the back to stop it falling over. I have done it so many times, I don’t even have to think about it. TODAY, when I moved my arm to the back of the chair, my watch hooked Karen’s nose and pulled it upwards. She SCREAMED. I ran away, ‘cos I knew instinctively she was going to thump me one. I felt so guilty. An hour later, she saw the funny side, although I kept my distance.

Physio tomorrow and a visit from Marie
