kp was a bit subdued this morning. But it got a little better as the morning wore on. Mum and Dad came for lunch, they took us to the Pump House – the food was delicious and it was great to catch up with all the Lancashire gossip ! The weather was spot on today which helped us enjoy a great day.

When we got home from the meal, Karen went straight to bed – knackered. She was a little quieter than usual throughout the whole meal. I don’t think she has had any time without visitors for a couple of weeks and perhaps she has overdone it – although I could be well out there !

I start work on Tuesday the 1st August and won’t have time to do blogs so regularly, so tomorrow night (Monday) will be the last of the daily blogs

I still intend to keep a weekly diary up on how kp is progressing. I even tried to persuade kp to write a daily blog here, but on my first attempt I wasn’t successful. I will try again, perhaps some encouragement from blog land would be useful to persuade her also – she will kill me when she reads this.

I think it would be wonderful to read things from her perspective. I’ll have to flutter my eyelids a bit.
