   A’viva la spania !!!!!!! (or however you spell it) I swear Karen, you are locked in to some “Burmuda Beauty Triangle” that you can’t get out of, the amount of times the hair gets done, the nails and now the tan!!

   Good for you on the tan Karen, I remember when we were 15 or so, on holiday in Spain, Lorette de Mare, it was a school trip, very educational you know, especially if you wanted to come top of the class in:
   1. Convincing Mrs Langabeer (Janes Mam) that you were not drunk
   2. How to escape out of a hotel bedroom, after Mrs Langabeer (Janes Mam) had locked you in because you were too drunk to carry on with the rest of the night – that was me and Trishis Lee – tee hee hee
   3. How to hide behind a bar so that Mr Langabeer (Janes Dad) and Mr Bunion (woodwork teacher) couldn’t find you after you had failed to return at the agreed time.
   Tell you what who needs Spanish culture when you just carry on with your Teeside habits. Thats my little dig regarding the football.

   Anyway I was telling the tale because on one of those Spanish trips (when Mary and Irene somehow managed to save the money) you got sunburt and I swear I’d never seen or have since, such a huge blister, whic was right between your boobs!!

   Nothing like that this time my friend you just strut your tan! They’ll all think you’ve been there 3 bloody weeks by the look of the spray. I’ve decided I’m goinig for one next time I come up.

   So listen you two just have a great holiday, David forget about the blog, but you know we all expect many pictures when you return. Say hello to all the Pollards!

   Marie I will give you a ring during the week to keep up to date with things.

   Myself and Jane will be thinking about you both while we are “sweating” not bingo speak, in the heat of the English summer. Me especially when I’m on one of those horrible tubes.

   Next week I’m in Bristol Monday and Leamington Spa Tuesday and Wednesday – all to do with work. Back home Wednesday evening.

   I’m off on the annual “go shopping with Auntie Ronnie” on Saturday, with Laura for her birthday present – which is a skate board, hers is knackered. On Sunday I’m in Nottinghill with Geraldine, who is cooking Sunday lunch for me and others, i.e. all those people who have helped her in the last year – silly sod she is, but it will be nice as its a sign of her turning the corner which is great.

   Other than that I’ll catch up with when you are both back. Hope all was well with my arrangements re-Wimbledon. David hope there are no problems with what I suggested to Karen. I realise that I’m going on too much but thought it best to get it all in before you both fly – Bye bye baby goodbye (sing it Dp)
