Some readers may have noticed spurious comments appearing advertising everything from Viagra to Loans. People have been abusing the ability for ANYONE to post comments to pass on to Karen. I have been deleting these as quickly as I can, but they have been getting more frequent and harder to keep up with.

A slight change has now been made when you post a comment on the blog. You can still post anonymously, but you will be required to enter some letters you see on the screen. This helps stop the automated spamming of the blog.

To post an entry to pass on to Karen (for anyone who is unsure), please follow these steps :-

1. Click on “Comments”

To see this picture in more detail, click on it.

2. Write your comment in the white box at the top and then click on “Other” (unless you want to remain anonymous (in which case, click “anonymous”))

Fill your name in the name box, and don’t worry about your web address, you can leave that blank.

3. Enter the letters you see above word verification into the word verification box

4. Send your comment to Karen, by clicking “Publish Your Comment”

That’s it.
