Hi Karen,
I’m at work and bored!! And there’s you in pain, sweating in your hot room, doing physio, taking tablets, hopefully not throwing up and on top of that I decide to send you a quiz.
I think a recording of David singing the song titles to you would amuse us bloggers no end. Come on Dp show us what your tonsils are made of!
These titles are pre our disco’s days, that is the days before hair tongs, boob tubes, bright blue eyeshadow, big hair flicks and port and lemons (can’t believe we drank that). I think these titles are more from the days of Chelsea Girl and our really wide trousers with high waist bands (obviously with a packet of ten Number 6 and matches stuffed down my trouser leg till I could hide the fags in the bedroom – walking with a limp through the living room so the matches didn’t rattle).
I thought we’d start off simple, I supply titles, Dp sings title (while recording himself), you give Dp the name of the singer or band. He blogs back to me and I confirm answers this weekend. No cheating with the others!

Love

Hi kp & dp,
I’m still laughing!!!!
Don’t be signing any contracts yet, you are right the worlds not yet ready for you both! And I said no asking the others and kp ends recording with, “oh we’ll wait till the others come” :-) Got to say Karen, you were totally miss guided by David (he was singing the wrong song) for the “January” title (Barabara Dickson!!) then “the others” come up with 10cc.
It was Pilot, it goes like “January sick and tired you’ve been hanging on me etc”
Dp’s rendition of Angle face had me in kinks – Baby face, where did that come from!
WELL DONE KP 13 OUT OF 14!
Lots of Love
