Hi Everyone,
Just caught up with the blog had a very busy two weeks with play scheme I am worn out with about 40 kids everyday, some of them special needs who I havent worked with before.Day off today. It has been a wonderful experience they have so much love of life it is humbleing( hope thats how its spelt DP)Any way great news from your end Karen you are doing so well the difference a few days has made is remarkable, and you David dont give up the day job you are no Elvis (sorry)pics were great though. You seem to have had a few bad days Karen but I notice a lot more good ones, keep it up kid you are getting there, you will find the few weeks you have till you go home for the day will be with you before you blink then you will be worrying about a new frock (he he).Take care everyone on the front line Margo

just read the comment that you think was from Linda McMann (Thursday 11th Aug) well Linda if it was you give me a call as myself and Karen were talking about you last week and then all of a sudden you send a blog message! A bit coincidental to say the least.
Well Karen I’m not surprised you were tired yesterday, it seems to have been a busy weekend.
So next Thursday I set off for the Peak District. Thursday and Friday evening we are staying in a Youth Hostel!! I don’t know, my brother has mad ideas at times, he said he would try and get me a room on my own. I sincerely hope he has as I don’t fancy sharing with a load of roaming ramblers or waky walkers, with beards and walking sticks. They had already pre booked into a family room, as my attendance was all last minute we couldn’t get a room to share together. On the Saturday we are booking into a hotel (somewhere), I’m not too sure if I’ll be staying on the Saturday night. So at the latest I’ll be with you Sunday 28th August. I’m thinking about staying up there for a week but I need to check accomodation with Jane etc first. I thought I’d also visit some of my cousins etc while I’m there. After that I pretty much think a return to work is on the cards. The boss has left me two very serious sounding voice mail messages, which I plan to address with her today.
Me and Karen are taking Irene and Kieth out tonight, as Karen goes away for two weeks this saturday. I thought it would be a nice surprise for Irene, if we could give her a quick phone call when I visit, she would so love to hear from you.
Well have a good day at the office (thats my new term for the physio sessions). Oh before I forget our Alans holiday started off in Middlesbrough this weekend just gone. He was staying with John Crowther, he was a PE teacher at St Mary’s, when Yvonne and Karen were there. I’m sure he used to coach them in Athletics and they fancied his socks off. Mention him to your Yvonne I’m sure she’ll remember.
