    Jeese Louise Karen!!
infections and you are just like flys round shit – sorry to get to the point so quickly , but I just had to get it out of my system.

And here goes another infection, “Karen Pollard lifts her racket and does a sliced backhand and hits it (the infection) into outer space” -”what a dream of a shot” say Dan Maskhill – Dp you’ll have to practice your posh Dan Maskill voice for that one.

Whatever they are giving you it seems to be working – keep at it my friend.
Also glad to hear you got the catheter issues sorted, remember that story I told you about Jack and my catheter, with his hands on the tube moving one by one in an upwards direction he says ” Autie Ronnie why have you got a tube of apple juice coming out of you”. A moment of panic and I left it to Alan to explain!

Irenes not well, viens playing her up, leg swollen, burning hot and not a lot they can do for her.

Have you heard from Jane? She sent me a text saying “It’s heaven, the most unstressfull place I’ve ever been to”. So shall we put Spain on hold and go to Thailand instead?

Wheyeee heyeeee to the hoist and sitting up – bloody marvelous, this my girl is just the start.

I do miss you so and our chats on the phone, planning to come and see you in a few weeks by which time you will have delivered unbeatable ace’s and won the fight with the infection.

So whats your tip for Wimbledon – I want Davenport to win the womens, I’m not that bothered about the mens – who do you want to win? Hope you are feeling better this weekend and can catch up with some tennis.

It’s 9.30 p.m and I guess you are fast asleep, so sleep well – take care.
    Lots of love
    Ronnie
P.S Hello to Dp – nurse of the year! To Marie – keep going, see you soon, Michelle and Yvonne – all the Dennisons send their love.

(Dp you’ll have to put on a Tony Blackburn voice for this one – sorry to be so demanding of your creative talents, no excuses like saying Tony Blackburn was before your time! – Here goes)

Ok you 1970′s Pop Quizzers – out there in hospital Pop Quiz land and not forgetting the Pop Quizzers out there in Blog land. (Tb voice please) (Karen do you think I’m going over the top? Bear with me, well you have done for all these years so a few more minutes doesn’t matter.)

Morning Quizers how ya all feeling!!?!! Todays quiz is designed to stretch everyone’s memories and fill in anytime while kp is resting. So glitter yourselves up, flick the hair back and lets start the quiz. (Karen, I agree I’ve lost it, I’m in need of help)

Take yourselves back to the sun soaked days (well the sun did shine more then) of 1970 through to 1975.
The rules of the quiz are:
    a) Two points for naming the band/artist.
    b) One bonus point for naming the year.
    c) There are 3 bonus points for naming the band/artist for Qu.11 – why? Cos I think its a hard OK?

Therefore there are a possible 33 points, but guess what no bloody prize for the winner, oh well.

I think we should increase the competitive edge and have a competition between “The hospital pop quizzers” and “The Bloggers pop quizzers”, but if you can’t be arsed to do that then forget it. OK you 1970′s chics lets Pop.

    SONG TITLE
    1. Devil Gate Drive
    2. Beach Baby
    3. If you think you know how to love me
    4. The Bump
    5. Band of Gold
    6. Rubber Bullets
    7. Sad Sweet Dreamer
    8. Do you wanna touch me
    9. Dyna-mite
    10. Shang a Lang
    BONUS TITLE
    11. Give me just a little more time.

Name of band/artist plus the year it was out is required. To help with naming the year note that
    a) 4 titles were out in 1973
    b) 4 titles were out in 1974
    c) 1 title in 1975
    d) 2 titles in 1970

No cheating and running home to get those naf Pop CD’s we all have, or is that just me.

The adjudicator for this quiz is Dp, I’m confident that he will remain neutral, as based on his last attempt he will be no use to anyone :-)
    (only joking Dp)
Happy adjudicating Dp let me know when the time is right to reveal the answers. Think the starting point should be when kp is back on tf (top form).

Kp I was going to do a Wimbledon quiz but thought that would be totally biased e.g:
    1. What was the best game (of modern times) at Wimbledon – Answer Borg v Gerralistis.

    2. Which year did Arthur Ash win Wimbledon and who did he beat.

    3. Which Wimbledon champion does kp look like (with head band on of course)

    4. Which lessons did you miss or nick off, at school, so you could watch Virgina Wade in the final?

Anyway would suggest kp is best at setting a Wimbledon quiz.

Bye all you Pop Qizzers – take care out there in Pop Quiz land.

    Happy bopping
    Take care kp
    XX Deno (Veronica)
