One Response to Day 407 – Tuesday 6th June 2006

    Hi ya Karen
I tell you what those catheters (spelling?) seem a good idea at the time, when you are layed in bed, but hell can they cause havoc. So I have sympathy and empathy, although I never had one in as long as you!!!!! No doubt you have double whamy from the pelvic op and the catheter. I’ve wet me knickers before, as a result of op and said catheter and I don’t mind sharing it with blog land. One step down from a train on to the the platform and dribble happend, god knows what would have happend it I’d tried tramaplining. I would imagine they’ve given you some type of pelvic exercise, don’t get too excited Dp, which you will be able to do even more of after the stomach op. I don’t mean to belittle what you are going through but as always if we know we can try to help when we can. This situation will not go on forever, plan a year ahead (I DON’T WANT TO PLAN A YEAR AHEAD I WANT IT NOW – I hear you say/shout) but in 6 months time after the stomach op and ongoing exercises you’ll know the difference.

The eye situation must be horrible, when its really causing you problems you need to tell us, if we don’t know we can’t help or understand, I know how strong willed you are and therefore not likely to say anything, but a problem shared is a problem halved – or something like that.

Thinking of you and Dp always
    Take care
    Lots of love
    Veronica XXXXXXXXXXXX
