    Hi Karen and David,
Fantastic blogs the last couple of day’s. Unfortunately for me (ex-Donny fan) I can’t whatch the footage of the concert as every time I click on it the screen says:
“Pins cannot connect due to not supporting the same transport. (Error=80040266)”

What the hell that means, I have no idea, but I can’t wait to see it, I’ll simply try the computer again tomorrow – Dp that’s as technical as I get.

So Dp it didn’t sound that you were really looking forward to the concert and then!!! You had to go and put ear plugs in, is this really true?

Kp, simply another great week, when I say great, I mean great. 1. ETA for your PERMANENT home coming.
    2. Lost count of the number of steps you’ve taken.
    3. You popped off to a concert.
    4. Had more of your brilliant family at home for a visit and get together.
    5. The catheter situation is getting sorted.
    6. Last weekend you were out shopping.
    7. You’ve walked all the way to the nurses station.

I know you want more than the couple of points I’ve mentioned, but simply just think about the next month, the month after that and much more. You will be appaulding Donny, I feel sure of that. Yes your Marie got it in one with the T-shirt.

I was over at Alan’s this weekend. We went to visit Mam and Dad today. All I can say is that the Southern elements of your extended family are estatic, they all think the developments to date have gone brilliantly.

I was telling Mam and Jack about my arrival with Jane in the MG and the amount of times we went round the car park singing that song (which Mam was playing at that time-yes she has the same CD). They were in stiches! Jack thought we were mad, but he meant it in a nice way. I was doing the actions with my arms swaying and both Jack and Mam followed suit with theirs, as I talked them 3 times around the hospital grounds.

It was a really nice weekend, it’s just great to spend time with the kids as all they want to do is play and have fun. Hey, that ain’t hard is it?

Jack, Mam and I spent the afternoon together, today, while Alan took Dad out for some DIY bits for their flat. Jack did his homework, which I checked, he told Alan I was ultra critical of his History, by the time he got to English he got the gist of my comments. That is to say there is alway’s a different view. I really think Jack could do better, he is lazy, but you never know when he may realise that fact later in life. I told him that at his age (14) I did nothing but study, he looked impressed, until our Alan started laughing.

Saturday was mainly dedicated to Laura, who took too much satisfaction in beating her Auntie Ronnie at a computer game of cricket, that was until we went outside and played the game for real. She’s going for trials to play for Surrey cricket club (for girls I mean). She is over joyed that she’s doing something that Jack has never done. We decided not to tell her that she’s the only girl that plays for her club. Therefore when Surrey Cricket club rang and said do you have any girls playing cricket she was the only one, therefore we think it was more automatic than selective, but we won’t tell her that.

The day ended on a high note, much to the satisfaction of Jack, as Middlesborough beat Aston Villa 3 – 2. I think we will forget that I stood and saw him play this morning – his team lost 4 -1.

So that’s my news from the weekend. I’m wondering if you are going back to the hospital tonight or staying at home. As David puts it you may be a dritty stop out instead.

More of the same for this week please. Love to everyone; you, Dp, Jb, Marie, Michelle and Adele.

    Speak soon my friend.
    Lots of Love
    Veronica

    Dear Karen and David,

I have been following your blog since we last spoke (David). In the hospital that awful night when I came to see you and Karen. My heart went to you both and your family.

I have been meaning to try and see you both again at some point but always felt that it was not my place. You have been in my mind since the day of the accident every day. I am so glad that you have taken the time to keep your blog updated David. Funny thing is I feel that I know you both so well from reading it !!!
Well thats the soppy bit out of the way, only to say that if at some point I could visit I would be over the moon. Please let me know my e mail is yamaha_dave@yahoo.com

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
    Take care.
    John. (the off duty one)

Karen says to say “Don’t expect great quality”. You certainly won’t be able to see Donny as it was taken with my phone.
