Karen, how unlucky can you get, hope the infection is not too serious and that already by today you are feeling a bit better.
Gave blood last night at the three tuns ( 17th pint!!), it wasn’t your team but I think the team that you used to work with, they said to tell you they were asking after you and wishing you well, sorry can’t remember the names, did read their badges, but — maybe Kathleen, Eileen, but not sure.
Hope you are feeling a bit better today.
    Best Wishes Sue

Well Kp you are full of surprises but back to that one later.

I was just thinking about life after the hospital and the blog and how different we will all be talking e.g. I call you one Sunday morning:

    Vd “Hello Kp it’s me”

    Kp “Hi ya Vd”(fromboro)

    Vd “Hows Dp?”

Kp “Dp’s in the bedroom fixing the bed”

    Vd “Where’s Jb?”

Kp “Jb’s layed on the sofa, trying to figure out how to switch the telly on”

Sorry, I’m so cheeky but I’m sure I’ll be forgiven for my blogs – one day? I know I could have said Dp was out walking the dogs but I didn’t.

So back to the surprise, you shouldn’t have, but it was SO appreciated, I rang Irene and told her, she was gob smacked and I can tell you, that doesn’t happen often!

You know there’s stuff I can’t blog but perhaps we’ll get used to reading between the lines, if you know what I mean.

Well as you know I’m not that busy at the moment, so send me a couple of those infections and I’ll deal with them for you.

Dp I know I’m always asking you to do things, recordings, singing, impersinations, adjudicating quizes, but it would be great to see a blog picture of Jb on top of the elephant – she has it on her digital camera, just a thought. If not (and I totally understand if you are too busy) Jb needs to get a copy printed and stuck on kp’s wall, Karen, I promise it will bring a smile to your face.

Poor Dp most probably dreads the day I got so blog happy and blog proficient – remember my shock horror after my first blog and realising it was public. There’s a story there, as at the same moment I opened the blog page for the first time Linda Mac rang me, I’ll tell you about that when I see you as it was sad but funny and we both ended up laughing.

I know I’m the longest blogger and I must owe Dp a fortune in paper. Sorry again Dp, but at least my blogs are shorter than our phone calls.
Funny how this blog has worked out Karen, as its the only thing during a day ………………..

Well here’s to another blog and here’s a smack in the gob for those bloody infections.
    Take care Karen
    Lots of Love
    Veronica
P.S Tell Jb our Karen says thanks for the pressies and that she really shouldn’t have.
P.P.S Jb says the Doc with the V and W problem has a soft spot for you! Look just cos you’re ill doesn’t mean we’ve stopped gossiping
