Colin originally hails from Hawick though he no longer lives in the Borders. In 2012 he ran a similar workshop for us but this time he will also be teaching us how to do peg loom weaving. Last year Colin had so many novel ideas for creating unique jewellery that we didn’t have enough time to try everything!
The Jewellery workshop will be more of the same from last year making various items of jewellery from found and scrap materials such as shells, stones, wire, yarn, cans, fabric, string and ANYTHING else you can find and bring along. At the same time I will bring along some small examples of Peg Looms so that interested parties can have a go at this wonderful Craft. We will be using various materials for weaving including yarn, sheep's fleece, fabric strips, string, plastic bags and anything else that might come to hand. I look forward to seeing you all again.
There are still places left on the workshop.
Adults £18. Concessions £15
