The Beshara School will be holding a free taster day at Chisholme House on Saturday 3rd May from 9.30am to 4.30pm
Mindfulness is described as simply being present in the moment, without judgment or preference. This practice, and the skill it develops helps us understand who we are and to interact authentically and effectively with out thoughts and feelings and so live life more fully. Simple and compassionate, mindfulness is an ancient practice. Its modern, popular form is secular and is suitable for anyone.
The Free Taster Day will introduce you to some of the core principles and practices of mindfulness. Lunch is provided by donation.
